The Warrenton Fire Protection District Ladies Auxiliary was formed in 1997. Our main purpose is to provide support for the Warrenton Fire Protection District and provide aid to victims whose homes, personal property, and life essentials, such as food and clothing that have been destroyed or extensively damaged.
The Ladies Auxiliary provides refreshments and/or food to firefighters of the Warrenton Fire Protection District and mutual aid to firefighters if and when necessary. The Ladies Auxiliary is also available to assist during structure fires and accidents when called upon by the Fire Chief or an Officer of the Warrenton Fire Protection District.
The Ladies Auxiliary host several fundraiser events during the year. Such events include a Pasta Dinner, Garage Sale, Fire Engine Rally and Combat Challenge, various BBQ's, Car Washes, Bake Sales, etc. We have a great time organizing these events and being part of the Warrenton Community! We do receive grants from Wal-Mart and other generous donations from the businesses of Warrenton and we thank you for your continuing support.
With the money raised for various events this year, the Ladies have been able to help various families in need of support due to medical reasons, assist our fire department with a purchase of a Rescue Mannequin to aid them in various types rescue trainings. Donations were also made to sponsor a child for Burn Camp, the Burn Unit at St. John's Hospital, and the Special Olympics.
The Ladies Auxiliary meets at firehouse # 1 on the first Monday of each month at 7:oo p.m. Anyone interested in joining the Warrenton Fire Protection District Ladies Auxiliary can contact President Jenny Smith at 636-456-8935 or by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
